In this seminar we looked into redacting texts to create it as our own. As an example we used Ken Garlands 'First Things First' manifesto, we were each given a copy of it and we had to strike out words to create a different manifesto out of it, we could take as many words out as we liked. I think I benefitted from this seminar as I now properly know how to redact a text and as it was a text we had already looked into during my first year, it gave me the chance to look and read through his manifesto again. I enjoyed this seminar a lot as I found it really informative and fun.
